I keep meaning to update, but the last month has kind of sucked.
Allow me to list the ways:
1. My computer crashed about three days after Christmas, but, as luck would have it, I got an external hard drive for Christmas, so all my files are safe. Still, I don't have a computer of my own at the moment. I've been using my older sister's laptop.
2. This is my poor little kitten, Squeaky.
My cat, Moonie, had a litter of kittens. Squeaky was the only girl and the runt of the litter. She was so tiny! Moonie had hidden the kittens under the house, but a dog got hold of Squeaky, so we had to bring her in the house. The dog didn't hurt her, but for some reason, I guess because of the dog smell, Moonie wouldn't feed Squeaky anymore. We had to hand-feed her, and we became really attached to her. Still, after the other kittens came in the house, Moonie started taking care of Squeaky along with the rest of them. There didn't seem to be anything wrong with her. Then she caught what we thought was a cold. We were worried about her, so we started keeping her inside more. She seemed to be fine, but a few weeks ago, my sister found poor Squeaky dead on my bedroom floor. I loved that kitty.
3. My birthday was on the 23rd. I got some money from my uncle. That very same day,
on my birthday, my sister decided that she needed money and was going to pawn her laptop. She knew I wouldn't want her to do that, because my computer was broken, so if I wanted a computer to use, I was going to have to lend her my money. I knew that I shouldn't, but I did it anyway. She couldn't even wait until the next day to try to get the money from me.
So yeah. Still, it wasn't all bad. I had fun at my birthday party (we played Harry Potter Clue!), and my friend took me out to eat a few times. We saw Sherlock Holmes, which I loved. My brother, who's in the Army, got to come in for Christmas. There was some good stuff, it just sucks that all the crap stuff overshadowed it.
