I'm worn out. My sister's birthday party was today, and she had a whole crowd of people over. Mom didn't feel well, so I had to dish out all the food and whatnot. I didn't mind doing it, but for some reason I'm incredibly tired. It's only 8:30. I don't really want to go to bed. I think I'm going to have to, though.

I introduced a friend to badfic this weekend. I don't know whether to be proud or disgusted with myself. It was fun to watch her reactions, though.

I just told my cousin off. My sister and I were watching Torchwood, and Danny just happened to walk in during a scene with two guys kissing. He said something like, "I don't wanna see no faggots," so Sarah said, "Don't look in the mirror, then." She was joking, but he got really offended. I told Danny, "Well, too be fair, you shouldn't have come in and made offensive comments about what we were watching." His response? "They are. Faggots, queers, lesbians, all of them deserve a bullet in the head."

Needless to say, I didn't respond well to that remark. I tried for about two seconds to ignore it, because I didn't want to start a fight and upset my dad, but I couldn't just let that pass. So I told Danny if he thought he was going to come in my house and start spewing out his hatred without consequence, he was very much mistaken. I told him to leave, and I yelled a lot more. I don't remember exactly what I said, I was far too mad. He left, and surprisingly, my dad wasn't mad at me. I honestly can't stand my family, sometimes. (Not my immediate family, I mean all my aunts and uncles and cousins and whatnot.) It seems like I've gotten into arguments like this with everyone that lives near me.

I keep meaning to update, but the last month has kind of sucked. Allow me to list the ways:

1. My computer crashed about three days after Christmas, but, as luck would have it, I got an external hard drive for Christmas, so all my files are safe. Still, I don't have a computer of my own at the moment. I've been using my older sister's laptop.

2. This is my poor little kitten, Squeaky.

My cat, Moonie, had a litter of kittens. Squeaky was the only girl and the runt of the litter. She was so tiny! Moonie had hidden the kittens under the house, but a dog got hold of Squeaky, so we had to bring her in the house. The dog didn't hurt her, but for some reason, I guess because of the dog smell, Moonie wouldn't feed Squeaky anymore. We had to hand-feed her, and we became really attached to her. Still, after the other kittens came in the house, Moonie started taking care of Squeaky along with the rest of them. There didn't seem to be anything wrong with her. Then she caught what we thought was a cold. We were worried about her, so we started keeping her inside more. She seemed to be fine, but a few weeks ago, my sister found poor Squeaky dead on my bedroom floor. I loved that kitty.

3. My birthday was on the 23rd. I got some money from my uncle. That very same day, on my birthday, my sister decided that she needed money and was going to pawn her laptop. She knew I wouldn't want her to do that, because my computer was broken, so if I wanted a computer to use, I was going to have to lend her my money. I knew that I shouldn't, but I did it anyway. She couldn't even wait until the next day to try to get the money from me.

So yeah. Still, it wasn't all bad. I had fun at my birthday party (we played Harry Potter Clue!), and my friend took me out to eat a few times. We saw Sherlock Holmes, which I loved. My brother, who's in the Army, got to come in for Christmas. There was some good stuff, it just sucks that all the crap stuff overshadowed it.

Well, this last week has been fun. First my internet, phone, and cable were off for four days, then my computer got a virus. I could barely use the computer until I fixed it, and that took me about three or four days. Like I said, fun!!!!

John Lennon
October 9, 1940- December 8, 1980

I know it might be stupid, since I never met him, but I miss him. I wish he was still here with his family, where he belongs.

Oh, Torchwood. Why are you so awful and yet so awesome at the same time? I was telling my sister a story earlier, and the conversation went something like this.

Behind the cut, because it got a bit long.Collapse )

Her reactions amused me to no end. The show can sound even weirder than it actually is, if it's not explained right.

I just got back from Rifftrax Live.

I was so awesome, and it was worth every penny I spent, but I'm so tired. I'll write more about it tomorrow.

I must find a way to attend this. It'll actually be showing near me, but I need to find a way to get to either Morgantown or Kentucky. My sister lives near Morgantown, so I'll see if she's willing to give me a ride.

Ticket info is here.
